Well, I've been in the freelance web programming world full time for about a year now. It's been fun so far, though a heck of a lot of work. Oh well.
I'm pleased to announce my first open source PostNuke module release - SurveyManager.

There is a very special place in Hell for spammers.I just had to do a global comment purge and deactivate the Comments module... of 1007 comments on the site, about 950 were robot spam. Even with account registration turned off they're getting through. Gotta look into that.
Also purged the bulk of site accounts, except for people who use SuperScribe. If you need an account restored, please email me. Try not to trigger SpamAssassin.
What I *ought* to do is to switch over to my own SimpleBlog module.

Some web programmers apparently think they don't need to know XHTML. These people are (and you will hear this word frequently in the following post) NITWITS. There are lots of bad web hosts out there - godaddy.com, any registrar - not to mention the legend that is featureprice.com. (I had a half dozen clients with them when they imploded.) But I have a new addition to the list of people to whom you should never give your business - 1and1.com. Here follows my first-ever complaint letter - I have been moved to unusual eloquence by their incompetence.Posted by: bbirney on Sep 14, 2006 - 02:34 PM Read full article: 'Never host with 1and1.com' (544 more words)
